Detailed engineering services for Define Phase Engineering for Bonga SW/Aparo Gas Export Pipeline SNEPCO – Dec. 2005
MOPU/FPSO/FSO
Engineering Studies and Detailed Design on Adanga Production Complex
Addax required studies and design of certain work on the existing Adanga Production Platform.
The purpose of these studies (de-bottlenecking and platform modification) was to provide data for Addax to use the existing Adanga Production Platform “A” (ADPP) and MOPU to handle the increase in production and gas compression interface.
The modification work was done under SIMOPS conditions and POINT ensured strict adherence to safe practices while carrying out the work.
POINT completed this work in December 2008.

RELIABLE DEEPWATER HEAVY LIFTING
POINT is in partnership with Jumbo Offshore. Jumbo is a privately-owned company with five decades of maritime industry experience. They act worldwide in the offshore Oil & Gas and Renewable market. They own and operate a large fleet of specialized Heavy Lift Vessels (HLVs) with dual-crane lifting capacities ranging from 500 to 1,800 tons. Over the last decade, Jumbo has built up a solid reputation as a reliable and efficient offshore transportation and installation contractor.
Offshore Heavy Lifting
In shallow water environments, we are experts in the installation of fixed facilities such as templates, jackets, piles and topsides. This also includes wind turbine foundations.
Subsea Lifting Operations
In more challenging deepwater and ultra deepwater, we excel in Subsea Lifting of large and complex structures, including the provision of Subsea Mooring Systems.

OUR PARTNERSHIP WITH WILLIAMS JACOB
POINT is in partnership with William Jacob Management (WJM) our Houston based America Company for the compact modular design.
WJM is well experienced in engineering design and modular construction for FPSOs. For more details of WJM capabilities please refer to this site williamjacob.com
Another interesting achievement of William Jacob is WJM MORF©, which is a complete drill rig that was designed to utilize not only modular fabrication but also installation and construction. WJM has two of these platform rigs working for PEMEX in Mexico.
Space, weight, schedule, constructability were all factors that WJM considered for these projects.
